Lisburn's Linen Homelands: A City Centre Walk

Lisburn was twice burned to the ground and twice rebuilt, growing into a world centre of the Irish linen trade along the way. This short loop through the historic city centre — 13km southwest of Belfast, on the Antrim/Down boundary — links the cathedral raised from the ashes of the 1707 fire, the Georgian terraces that replaced it, the old Market House turned linen museum, and the gardens where the Conway family's manor once stood.
